From humble beginnings. In 2008, Matt Harmon, owner of Harmon Property Management, purchased two rental properties. Having had a bad experience personally as a tenant and having heard of bad experiences other property owners had with local Wichita area property management, Matt decided to self-manage his new rental properties.  

From day one, Matt emphasized technology, systems, policies, processes, and procedures, focusing on availability and responsiveness, effective and timely communication, honesty, integrity, transparency, and a results-oriented property management approach, improving tenant satisfaction and his bottom line.

Matt shared his business model and success with a family friend, who then asked him to manage his rental portfolio and help get it in order. Soon after, Matt had it running on "auto-pilot."  

Word of mouth soon spread, and what started as just filling an individual need has now organically grown into serving over 20+ property owners and hundreds of tenants over the last 10+ years. Focusing on being one of the best property management companies, not just one of the biggest, HPM now manages over 12 million dollars of residential real estate and collects over $1.2 million in rent annually.
